I am also suffering with trying to get off Paxil.
I had nightmares too. I knew it was the drugs. I am currently withdrawing 
(tapering) my dosage to eventually become whole again. the really scary 
nightmares lasted probally about a month and a half. 
I feel mad as hell, I was given this drug Paxil at a crisis center. never 
was I once informed of addiction, side-effects, or withdrawal symptoms, or 
given a choice to take it or not, they only told me I had a chemical 
imbalance and needed to be on it. I would love to be involved in a lawsuit 
against the company SKB.
